You deserve to live a healthy, fulfilling life. How can I help you get there?

Seeking therapy is not an easy choice and finding a therapist that feels like the right fit for you is one of the most important parts of the process. I would like to tell you a little bit about the kinds of therapy I do and what I am able to offer, and hopefully we can work together to make sure we are a good fit for each other. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families in therapy. I have experience working with families from many diverse backgrounds, individuals with a wide variety of concerns, and couples from dating, to many years of marriage, and through divorces and reconciliation. Please click the images below to find out more about each type of therapy. I am happy to work with you on individual issues as well as family or couple concerns. Please contact me so we can discuss your particular situation and create the best treatment plan to meet your needs.

Individual Therapy

My training is in systems theory which guides my work. What this means for individual therapy, is that I believe that we are constantly impacted by our relationships; whether those are relationships with people, our environment, or the community, for example. I believe it is important to take into account all of those elements when we set goals and create changes in your life. Systems theory believes that a change in any one person will create a ripple that effects all the people around us. It is my hope that I can work with you to achieve your goals and create a greater ripple in the world. Please note I work with people 18 years and older.

Intimate Relationship Therapy

Choosing to seek therapy to support your relationship is an excellent first step towards healing. I have always enjoyed working with couples and intimate relationships because I believe that if we can create balance in our primary relationships, that will support balance in our other relationships. I have worked with couples on issues such as infidelity, fertility, pregnancy and parenting, communication, deployment and reintegration, separation, divorce, reconciliation, and non traditional relationship/family structures.

I value building a strong working relationship with all relationship participants so it is important that we work all together throughout the process of therapy. If you are curious if couple/relationship therapy is the best option for you and your partner/s, please contact me so we can talk and figure out how best to move forward with treatment.

Family Therapy

Families are complex. Families are a place where multiple relationships collide and are expected to coexist peacefully. It is not easy to be a wife/daughter/mother, or father/son/brother all at the same time. I have worked with families on a wide variety of concerns including parenting, communication, separation due to parental death, deployment, and divorce, and blending families.

I do not work with children or youth, but am happy to work with families around parenting issues, family dynamics issues, blended family stress, and potentially other issues on a case by case basis.

Please contact me so we can talk about the concerns you have for your family and we will work together to see if we are a good fit and create a treatment plan that meets everybody’s needs.
